The Boardroom Family Holiday 2015 - Eastbound and Down
Each year, towards the end of summer, we set out on what has become known as The Boardroom Family Holiday. We draft someone in to take over the shop for a few days, assemble a crew of the shop's team and some of our friends, then we hit the road...

Awesome to see a new release from Wethepeople just in time to remind you why to buy a Wethepeople complete Bmx this Christmas, they are such a great brand and have such a strong team it really shows through in this 20+ minute mixtape, so forget the terrible Irish weather, pop the kettle on and sit back to enjoy this one!
The months that follow summer in Europe are always a struggle to get clips, you always feel like you are fighting off the winter and everyday of sunshine could be your last. We set about filming for LIT early October and the mission was kind of simple: Every rider had 2 months to film what they could and then send the final clips to me to edit towards the end of November. Injuries hit a few of the guys, the weather crept up sooner on some but everyone came through with some great footage. When I sat down and threw the clips together I realised this was going to be a 20 + minute thing and immediately started to stress about where to even start with the editing. Mix tapes are just what they say on the label, a mix of clips from all over thrown into the pot. If there’s one thing I’m hyped on it’s the fact that we as a brand have an awesome squad both in Europe and across the globe and this video represented the crew just perfect in my opinion. It also made the slow winding down process that winter brings a little bit more creative. Thanks to every rider who contributed clips and every filmer who stuck it out in the cold to contribute. - Wethepeople

CHRISTMAS OPENING HOURS 2015 ***BANK HOLIDAY UPDATE***
Simple really, here are our hours for Christmas 2015!
We will be open from Monday to Saturday as normal, from 10 till 6.
We will be open on Thursdays till late, from 10 till 8.
We will be closed on Sundays as usual.
Our last day of business will be on Wednesday the 23rd of December, and we will be closing at 5 pm.
We will be back open TUESDAY 28th of December from 10 till 6.
Brookes Farewell
Props have put this very touching mini documentary together with Brooke Betancourt as tribute to Glenn Salyers. Really awesome video for all involved, i got a bit teary eyed during this and would definitely urge everyone to give it a watch.
Here at Boardroom towers we've noticed loads more ladies on Skateboards the last few years but we really need to get more girls on Bmx's too.......
“In the summer of 2015 we had planned to shoot a video with Glenn Salyers and his girlfriend and fellow BMX’er Brooke Betancourt. Unfortunately Glenn died in a tragic motorcycle accident (it wasn’t his fault) before we could start shooting. About 2 months after the accident, Brooke mentioned she wanted to put together a mini-documentary about the whole ordeal, their relationship, her feelings and where she might go from here. Needless to say, we offered to help. The resulting documentary is called “Brooke’s Farewell”. RIP Glenn, only the good die young brother.” Props
