Saturday Sessions - Athlone Skatepark

We're having another Saturday session soon!
This time we're heading out to the skatepark in Athlone.

On Saturday the 22nd of August, we'll be heading to Athlone Skatepark,
We'll be there with some of the Team and friends, having a bit of a session, riding bikes and having a good time. The Saturday sessions have been great so far, so hopefully loads of people can make it and join us!

Opening hours for Saturday, August 8th.

Ryan Aylward - Naughty Nigel

Here we have a post modern masterpiece by Ryan Aylward. "Naughty Nigel" is an expression of the dystopian present of stunt riding in Ireland. Featuring collaborative efforts from other BMX artistes, Jake Ryan, Ryan Mollan, Killian "Ryan" Sheil and Conor "Ryan" Winters, Ryan Aylward has captured something real and honest.

BSD - Reed Stark's Californian Safari

Reed Stark went on a bit of a breather to Cali there recently. Seems he just chilled back and took it easy breezy... Or, went on a complete mission and took care of just about every weird/massive set up he could find. Lunatic.

The Boardroom's Birr Skatepark Jam - 2015

After last year's Birr jam, it was pretty obvious that we needed to do another one!
The park is so good, the locals seem to love it and everyone who makes the journey has a good time.
This year, we decided to go with a proper Jam format and it was so good to see people taking part and doing some quality riding.

Major thanks to everyone who made it out, to Adam for helping us organise it and Paddy Owens for editing the video!

Boardroom - Saturday Sessions - Naas Skatepark

For our second Saturday Session we're going to hit up Naas Skatepark, Naas, County Kildare.
We'll be there from 1 o'clock until about 6 p.m on Saturday the 25th of July.

We'll be popping over there with a few of the team lads, some bits and bobs to throw out for people who join in the fun.

Aaron Grixti - Malta x Ireland

Aaron Grixti came over from Malta recently and spent two weeks in Ireland. He called in to the shop and built his bike up again with a new Federal frame. Cheers for that Aaron!

By the looks/sounds of it, he had a really good time while staying with the Boyle crew out in Roscommon!
There's some killer riding in here, which is always good to see! Glad he had a good time on his trip.

The Irish Times - Best Shops in Ireland 2015

As you may know, every year, The Irish Times runs a competition to crown the "Best Shops in Ireland".
In 2014, we were voted, by our customers/friends/parish priests as one of the top 10 "Specialist shops" in the country.

After nearly 10 years in business, this meant an awful lot to everyone involved in The Boardroom.

To be in the top 10 is an honour. We never expected it, but we would certainly hope we live up to it!
For 2015 we would LOVE to make it into the running for the top 10 once again, and if possible, be recognized as the number 1 specialist shop in Ireland. We love and live what we do here and we're constantly trying to make our service and shop better. By stocking new product, bringing new and quality brands to Ireland, running and sponsoring competitions and events throughout the year, we try to keep BMX and Skate alive and well on this island!
